Letter from Superintendent Johnson available in the Quick Links on the right side of webpage.

In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID 19, Latta School will be offering online enrollment this year for all students. To assist us in preparing for online enrollment, we need your help. The guardian/parent that is listed Contact Sequence one in Wen-GAGE will be the ONLY one with access to the Student Records Online Enrollment Portal.  If you already have a Wen-GAGE account with your username and password, you will be set to go when the online enrollment portal is opened up.  If you do not have your username and password, please email registrar@latta.k12.ok.us to request your information.  #lattapanthers #thelattaway

Sunday, June 21 COVID Letter From Superintendent

Thank you to all our students, parents/guardians and teachers for all their efforts during the COVID-19 Distance Learning.  We are very proud of each and everyone!!

Congratulations to all our Latta FFA students who were recognized at the State FFA Convention.  You make us proud!

Congratulations to our Latta art students for having their work selected for the Young Talent in Oklahoma art show.  Taryn Batterton’s colored pencil work, Prisma Flowers. Jaden Cooper’s pen and ink work, Harmless. Elizabeth Acree’s watercolor and pen and ink work, Solstice.  Elizabeth Acree was also awarded an Arts Excellence award in the visual arts category.

Congratulations to Maggi Dansby and Caroline Skaggs, who have both been named as national semi-finalists in the Coca-Cola Scholars Program.  They are two of 1,928 semi-finalists selected from more than 93,000 applicants.  That places them in the top 2% nationally at this point in the competition.  Good luck Maggi and Caroline in the next step of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program!

For the last 20 years Latta DECA has donated the first $100.00 to the United Way Campaign for the Ada Regional United Way.  This year they gave $450.00 to the campaign.  Pictured here are President Xavier Hamilton and Vice President KerVon James presenting the check to James Jackson,  Ada Regional United Way director,  with all Latta DECA members present.  Oklahoma DECA President Austin Long and Vice President Xavier Hamilton are working to convince all Oklahoma DECA Chapters to do the same.
