This week is Public Schools Week.  Please watch this video to learn more and celebrate what public schools have to offer!! #PublicSchoolProud

Latta School will return to in-person classes tomorrow.  The parking lot and entrances have been cleared but there may be some re-freezing overnight. Students & staff should wear non-slip footwear and be extra cautious when crossing the parking areas and entering the school.  We want to acknowledge the hard work of our maintenance staff who worked many cold and difficult hours to get our school ready so our students and staff are to safely return to school.  Also a big thank you to Commissioner Danny Davis and the workers of Pontotoc County District 2 for there work on our bus routes!!

District basketball games have been rescheduled to Monday and Tuesday. Both Latta teams will play at their original times, 6:00 & 8:00 pm, on Tuesday.

On January 29th, officials from Latta School, Redland-Architects and MacHill Construction broke ground on the New Latta Elementary School.  The new elementary is the most significant piece of the largest capital improvement project in Latta School history.
