Latta Public Schools is experiencing an internet outage. The technician has arrived and we hope to have this issue resolved shortly. Until then, our phone service will be down. For necessary communication school staff will be using cellular phones. Elementary parents can contact teachers via classroom apps.
Thank you to Latta Cheer's Hannah Roberson, Jolie Sutton and Libby Williams for braving the cold and working our elementary school carline this morning! 🐾💛🖤📣

The Regents STEM Summer Academies focus on engaging more students in STEM fields and helping them become aware of the need to prepare for college while in K12. Students will be involved in hands-on STEM activities every day while also being introduced to the expectations of college life. As always, these summer academies are free and all students are welcome.
Attached is a flyer for the Regents website with all academies, and a flyer for the Human Water Cycle commuter academy specifically being held at ECU June 24-27.
The summer academy applications open tomorrow, March 1 and will remain open through the end of March.
If anyone has any questions, please contact me.
We look forward to working with your students!

Coach Plunk's 7th grade Computer Applications class recently created interactive stories using Google Apps. They were required to use animation, sound and create a story that would teach a positive lesson. Today, they shared their stories with our Pre-K and TK classes. They all did a great job and the elementary students loved having some big kids take the time visit and teach them!
