How will the LEA use the 20% of funds reserved under section 2001(e)(l) of the ARP Act to address the academic
impact of lost instructional time through the implementation of evidence-based interventions, such as summer
learning or summer enrichment, extended day, comprehensive afterschool programs, or extended school year?

Question 2:

How will the LEA spend its remaining ARP ESSER fund consistent with section 2001(e)(2) of the ARP Act?

Remainder of ESSER III Funds will be spending on some or all of the following:

  • Chromebooks/Laptops for Students (SY 23 24, 25)

  • Laptops/Desktop Computers for Teachers (SY 23, 24, 25)

  • Adaptive technology for students with disabilities to assist with remote learning (SY 23, 24

Question 3:

How will the LEA ensure that interventions, including but not limited to those implemented under section 200l(e)(l)
of the ARP Act addressing the academic impact of lost instructional time, will respond to the academic, social,
emotional, and mental health needs of all students, and particularly those students disproportionately impacted
by the COVID-19 pandemic, including students from low-income families, students of color, English learners,
children with disabilities, students experiencing homelessness, children in foster care, and migratory students?

Through benchmarking and other assessments, Latta Public Schools will survey student
learning loss and other needs of all students, particularly those who have been
disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Data-driven decisions will be
made regarding best practices to assist all students. (SY 22, 23, 24 Completed)

Question 4:

The extent to which and how the funds will be used to implement prevention and mitigation strategies that are, to
the greatest extent practicable, consistent with the most recent CDC guidance on reopening schools, in order to
continuously and safely open and operate schools for in-person learning;

With the replacement of outdated HVAC units with new, more efficient units providing
cleaner and improved air quality, Latta Public Schools will continue to mitigate the ongoing
effects of COVID-19 and other related respiratory illnesses; thus, providing a more effective
educational setting in a safer and healthier school environment.
