Mrs. Kristi Smith has been named the 2019-2020 Latta Elementary Site and District Teacher of the Year, and Mrs. Tammy Collins has been named as Latta’s Secondary Site Teacher of the Year.  Click here for more information.     FCCLA attended their State Convention Thursday, April 4. Five Latta FCCLA Members, three sponsors and their Adviser ventured to Anaheim, California from 6/27-7/5 to attend the National Family Career and Community Leaders of America Leadership Conference. 8,700 were in attendance, making this the largest NLC yet. Students who attended were Caroline Skaggs, Hope Wear, Cassidy Miller, Mackenzie Pollard and Kyndal Schlup from the chapter. Caroline Skaggs started her presidency as the 2019-2020 Oklahoma State Executive Council President where she presided at State Meetings, carried in our Oklahoma flag at the opening session, attended State Officer Trainings and handed out competitive event awards. Hope Wear was a National Executive Council Candidate. She was one of two students running from Oklahoma. Hope took a national FCCLA . . .
