Latta FFA competed at the Murray State Speech contest on Monday night. Kinadee Scott, Beau Griffin, Kas Reeves and Jocelyn James competed in several divisions. Kas Reeves took second in the FFA Creed, Jocelyn James won first in Extemp and Ag Policy. Congratulations!!
The Annual Latta FFA/4H Bean Supper and Pie Auction will be on May 2, 2025 in the Latta MS/HS cafeteria at 6:30 P.M. It is a great blessing to everyone, and we couldn't do it without you.
We ask that everyone participate in some way to make this a successful event. There are a few ways for you to help.
There is a grocery donation for the bean supper.
Everything served for dinner is donated.

Also, the Latta FFA built a 16' trailer with ramps to be raffled off. Make sure and contact one of Latta's FFA or 4-H Members to get your chance to win. We will draw the night of May 2.

Congratulations to Brody and Jayden McElhannon on their State qualification in trap shooting. Brody finished 6th Male Senior division, and Jayden finished 1st Female Junior division in the region. Jayden's score was actually the highest female score for both Senior and Junior divisions. Good job today by all who competed, and best of luck to Brody and Jayden on the 16th. 🎯🖤🐾💛
Things were pretty tricky around the elementary today! We had flood drills, brown e's, and were on the hunt for the infamous Sloof Lirpa! Happy April Fools' Day! Be sure to ask your kiddos about all the fun we had today!
Congratulations to Latta FFA members Jocelyn James, Beau Griffin, and Kas Reeves. They went to the Poteau Pirate Throwdown speech contest Monday night. Jocelyn won first in Ag Policy and Extemp. Beau took first in Agriscience with Kas placing top two in his room, and after call backs placed second out of 46 FFA Creed speakers. Job well done!!
These FCCLA students competed in state STAR events last Thursday. They will find out how they placed at the FCCLA state convention April 10th and if they qualify for national competition in Orlando this summer. 🤞🏻
Congrats to our 8th grade Lady Panthers Bostyn Thompson, Kelbi Williams, and Lyla Standridge for playing in the 4th annual Inter-Tribal Rising Stars game. Kelbi was named the games MVP! Well done girls!
