Latta Panther Classic Tournament update!

It was a good day for a Dodgeball Tournament (and a few ugly Christmas sweaters!)🎄🐾
Mrs. Storts' first hour Math class earned the most points in our Thanksgiving Food Drive and got to play in a student vs. teacher dodgeball tournament. So much laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition!! 🏐💥

🎶🎄 We hope to see you there! 🎄 🎶

Emily Butcher, a 2012 graduate of Latta High School, has gone above and beyond with her Bright Future Hygiene Drive. This service project has brought in over 1,000 items like shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste, and feminine products supporting Latta Middle School students.
We feel incredibly grateful for the heart and generosity poured into this project for our school. Thank you, Emily and other donors, for seeing a need, stepping up, and making sure our students are cared for! 💛
If you feel led to help with this project, we’re attaching her information here. It will be going on through the end of January.

Okay, students, we need you to wear your best ugly Christmas sweater for tonight's games as you cheer on your panthers! Let's pack the stands!

Latta TK went to Moore to North Pole Asventure. They got to see Santa’s reindeer, ride a train, have snowball fights, see Santa and much more! Santa told them they are all on the good list along with their teachers who are the top of the list! 😊 🎅🏼🎄

This sale will take place today during Panther Time in the middle school and the elementary.

Today was a great day at Latta High School, because we got to celebrate Joyce Howry's 86th birthday! Joyce is an integral part of Latta Schools. She has worked in the library for the past 29 years (after retiring from teaching). Joyce does an amazing job in the library. The students and teachers love going to the library because of Mrs. Howry. She is an avid reader and has a wealth of knowledge about what everyone likes to read. Not only does Joyce help students find good books, but she also makes them feel at home. Many students enjoy spending their free time in the library because they know they are loved and cared for. Mrs. Howry exemplifies what it means to be a great educator. She loves her students and is willing to help them however she can. Happy birthday, Ms. Howry! You are so loved!

Congratulations to Audrey Forshay, Jenna Freeze, Addison Thomas, and Eden Diacon our November Students of the Month! These students are being recognized for their academic excellence in the classroom. We are proud of y'all!
