Latta FFA held Ag in the Classroom Day at the Ag Building. All Pre-K, K and TK classes attended. Their day on the farm started off by planting a tomato seed. They got to hear from Latta FFA Alumni, Tucker Abney, from Great Plains Kubota about tractors and their importance in agriculture. Next they learned about some important farm animals and their uses on the farm. Needless to say, the day was a success.

Reminder for Senior Parents that Baby Panther Tributes are due tomorrow!

Mrs. Weaver and Mrs. Collins want to give a heartfelt thank you to these guys! Coach Plunk, Coach Bryant, Coach Atkinson and Mr. Norton (not pictured) volunteered their time this morning to help us in the elementary carline. We appreciate you guys braving the cold to give some of our staff a morning inside and helping us get our students into the warm building! 🐾💛🖤

🚨Senior Parents 🚨
There will be a brief senior parent “After- Prom” Meeting @ 5:15 P.M. tomorrow evening in the high school auditorium.

Latta Public Schools will be open in regular session tomorrow, Thursday, February 20, 2025
Even with the outstanding efforts of our dedicated maintenance personnel to prepare our buildings, sidewalks, and parking lots, students are reminded to watch for patches of clear ice that may still be on sidewalks, curbs, etc.
Dress Warm - Be Safe - Let's Learn - GO PANTHERS!

Due to the inclement weather and road conditions, we will move to distance learning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19th.
All assignments and instructions will be posted through the Latta Public School App and/or Google Classroom by 9:00 am Wednesday and will be due by 11:59 PM.
