Great day for Latta XC @ Okemah! A lot of new PR’s & top 25 medals. We were missing a few HS girls & boys this time. Our HS girls bumped up from 1 mile to 2 miles this race & HS boys from 2 miles to 5K. JH stayed at 1 mile! We are proud of them all! Thank you to everyone who packed the course & stands!

Today was the first junior high FCA meeting of the year! LHS students Jaxon Edgar and Rakhia Booker spoke to about 80 of our middle school students. 👏🏻🎉


Congratulations to all Latta 4-H and FFA Showmen! Latta had several Grand and Reserve Grands in multiple species to go along with a multitude of Showmanship winners. Latta had a very successful Pontotoc County Fair!

Latta DECA donated $508.00 to the Latta Partners in Excellence Foundation during the first full week of school. Latta DECA president Briley Brundidge presents the check to Latta Foundation Board Member Mr. Phil Shivers. Thank you DECA members for investing in Latta Partners in Excellence. Paying it forward to Senior scholarships. The group was led by Mr. Kervon James.

JOM meeting correction

Congratulations to the HS softball teams! We had two teams playing this weekend. One group finished 2nd at Tupelo and the other finished 3rd at Stratford! Great job Ladies!


Mrs. Fortner's Pre-K class has been working on fine motor skills this week. They had a great time playing games and cheering each other on as they worked on these skills!

Our JH softball team went undefeated, 6-0, to be the Gold Bracket Champions of the Swing for the Fences Tournament! WAY TO GO, TEAM!!🥎🏆🌟

The road in front of the Ag Building and behind the 5th grade building will be closed during dismissal every day! The road will be blocked by our staff members. Please go around and enter the elementary car line by the Latta Panthers Fieldhouse.
Latta FFA is selling Blue and Gold through August 28th. The delivery date is Wednesday, September 10th. Sausage is $10 (Per 2.5# Stick), bacon $20 (Per 3# Package) and chicken $26 (Per 5# Bag).
