As the school year winds down, Latta Schools gathered on Friday for our annual staff luncheon, one of our favorite traditions of the year.
This special time allows us to celebrate the incredible people who make our schools such a special place for students each and every day. We were honored to recognize:

📚 Teachers of the Year – educators who exemplify excellence, dedication, and heart, voted on by their peers.

🎓 Retirees – Mrs. Scarlett Barton, whose lasting legacy will forever be part of Latta Schools.
We are incredibly grateful for the dedication, compassion, and hard work of every staff member. Thank you for the countless ways you serve our students, families, and community each day. 🐾
Thank you Latta Community for your patience and support as the Latta FCCLA and FFA have started "The Garden at Latta" for Panther Nation. You are welcome to come and pick fresh produce from the garden free of charge. We wanted to take what we learned on a Fund for Teachers grant in northwest Washington and Canada a reality; locally grown produce readily available for our students. Take what you need but be sure and leave some for the next person. Anyone that is involved with Latta Public School is welcome. Please be respectful of the land and hard work our students have poured into this. Produce planted: Onions, Butternut Squash, Spaghetti Squash, Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Tomatoes, Watermelons, Peppers and Cantaloupes.
